When I got home, I got a job with Rockwell in
Winchester. It wasn’t long before I took the test at
the post office and with my score and my ten-point
military service benefit, I scored high enough to be
hired. I worked at the post office for twenty-five
years.
I am proud to have served my nation; I felt it was my
duty to serve my nation. I was very proud to do what I
did. I got to go to different countries and to do
different things.
Of my entire service, I am most proud to have been part
of building the bunkers at GITMO in ’63.
