Throughout this book you will notice the use of icons.

You must have an internet connection (WIFI) to use these icon links. Without an
internet connection, you will be able to read the book, but won’t be able to use the links.

Each link provides information that authenticates or relates to the material presented.
Citation information can also be determined by clicking on the links.

Most photographs are likely “linkable”. Most text that is displayed in a color other than
               black is likely “linkable”.

Hover over the icon or text and click your mouse.

To view a video, click on the image, then click the start button on the video; when
finished viewing, exit from the website, then press the ESC key to be returned to the
               book.

Except for videos, remember to click out of the ACTIVE TAB; do not click out of the
website, that would result in closing the book.

All internet links were valid at the time initial research was conducted in November
2014. You are encouraged to search each subject for updated information.

The use and appearance of hyperlinks is for reference and do not infer endorsement by
               the author or participants.

Capitalization of the word Veteran is a show of respect for their service.

Significant numbers of our nation’s Veterans suffer from physical, emotional and other
medical conditions, such as PTSD, associated with their military service.

               Being wounded, or witnesing traumatic events; countless Veterans continue to suffer;
many struggle from wounds that do not bleed.
