When flying with the pilot for our target practice, each plane had their ammunition dipped in different color
paint. Ours was plain so we made the highest score. In case their color came off, we got the count for it.
We were down there two or three months. They stopped us at Salt Lake City for two weeks on our way to
Boise, Idaho. We had to learn something on the turrets.

Then we went to Boise, Idaho, and were assigned a crew. The pilot was Kenneth Weaver from Oregon.
Other crew members were D. Tucker, Bomb.; R. Rice, Co-pilot; R. Wood, Nav; W. Perry, 2nd eng.; H.
Graham, Rad. op.; T. Eatherly, 1st eng.; W. Byers, 3rd eng.; H. Dickey, tail gunner; J. Tipton Right Waist
               Gunner.
