Equivalent to trying to “square the circle”; struggling
               to answer these questions becomes bewildering.

               America’s entanglement in the Vietnam War was complex.
               Opinions, pro, and con continue to be debated. For the
               men and women who served during the Vietnam War era,
               questions persist:

               “Why were we there?”;

               “Why did it end like that?”

               I believe knowledgeable individuals have an opportunity
               and a responsibility, to use their critical thinking
               skills and the art of visualization in an effort to
               better comprehend our Vietnam War era participants and
               therefore, gain an appreciation for their service to
               our nation.

               This book is my effort to help the reader become more
               knowledgeable.

               “No event in American history is more misunderstood
               than the Vietnam War. It was misreported then, and it

               is misremembered now.”
