A delighted mother and her Warrant Officer son.

Some of my proudest moments during my Army career was when I would be home on leave

“all dressed up” in uniform for my mother and brother.

I had studied and worked hard.

But, without her always showing me a never quiet determination about life

I doubt I would have succeeded.

I was bound and determined to be the best I could be.

The costs were high; the oath was stronger.
