My “tour of duty” began during the time the draft was
in effect. It is my opinion without the draft we would
not have had a protracted Vietnam War.
The protestors and songwriters, in my opinion, were
making seemingly valid points. “Why was it our war?”
Thank you, First Sergeant, William Valentine, for being
my mentor when I didn’t even know what you were doing.
Yes, one person can make a difference in another
person’s life.
