1 I traveled into Africa multiple times on TDY, for Humanitarian Aid missions. I
was not allowed to journalize or retain records, nor did I always know exactly
where I was. I believe I was in Chad, Ethiopia, Ghana, Somalia, and Sudan.

2 I traveled into Western Asia on TDY to support the construction of storage
facilities for the prepositioning of equipment reserves. In many cases, I was not
allowed to journalize or retain records, nor did I know exactly where I was. I

believe I was in Amman, Jordan, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the desert regions of
what was then South Yemen.
