I am not a radical. But I believe we need a few vital changes to ensure we the people reclaim and
               preserve control of our government.

We must step out of our comfort zone; look at the history of our past leaders; learn from history; stand
firm and let our elected officials know that: We are not going to take it anymore!

But, to do this you must be willing to act.

I am attempting, with the writing of this exposition; to sound the rallying call.

Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Do the thing and you will have the power.”

I am providing sources and resources to kick-start your involvement. You will find sample letters to our
elected officials in the Appendix of this exposition. Read them; modify them, sign your name to them, and
               send them today!

Should our elected officials be required to read and comprehend before voting on a Bill?

A significant illustration of major legislation passed without being read is:

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA)

“Commonly called Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act, is a United States federal statute signed into
law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010. Together with the Health Care and Education
Reconciliation Act, it represents the most significant government expansion and regulatory overhaul of
the U.S. healthcare system since the passage of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi: "It's going to be very, very exciting, Congress "[has] to pass the bill so you
can find out what's in it… Pass Health Reform So You Can Find Out What’s In It.”

By Peter Roff, Thomas Jefferson Street blog

“It has been said well and famously that politicians only really commit a gaffe when they tell the truth
without meaning to. Add Nancy Pelosi to the list.

Speaking Tuesday to the 2010 Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties, Pelosi
began the windup of her healthcare pitch by alluding to the controversies over the healthcare bill and the
process by which it has reached its current state. Then, just after saying, "It's going to be very, very
exciting," Pelosi gaffed, telling the local elected officials assembled that Congress "[has] to pass the bill so
you can find out what's in it, away from the fog of controversy."

               My “thinking” on this matter:
                                                           Absurd:

“The state or condition in which human beings exist in an irrational and meaningless universe and in
which human life has no ultimate meaning… “
