Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and conceivably the entire population of elected officials in
Washington, D.C. are;

“One of many elected officials living in a state or condition of existing in an irrational and meaningless
universe in which human life has no ultimate meaning to them.“

I consider it common sense and acting as a responsible person to only vote on the things you have read
and comprehend. How else could you form an independent opinion and cast a responsible vote for your
constituents?

I also consider it gross negligence to not read and comprehend the legislation before voting on it.

From time to time I have the occasion to read newspaper or magazine articles that fascinate me.
